Making New Memories | Fall Portrait Sessions

Meet the E family!  I recently had the pleasure of having a family session with them and it was so much fun.  On the surface, this may seem like the typical family session, but it was not.  Let me tell you why.  This family suffered through an electrical fire in their home this past June.  Thankfully no one was harmed, but their home was essentially destroyed on the inside.  As I saw the boys running and laughing during our time together, it was clear that they didn’t seem impacted by being displaced from their home – they have their parents, their health and they have each other.  The recovery process is proving to be long and tedious for them so the best I could offer was a portrait session to create some new memories as a family.

And as a tiny PSA, I can’t stress enough how important I believe it is to capture memories.  Use that cell phone camera, point-n-click, video camera – capture the memories!
