From a beautiful bouquet of purple ranunculus, came these two images. It is hard to move past the tragic events that took place here in Boston on Monday. I look at these flowers and I see in them the spectrum of reaction to the event – one of being closed, a shutting down so to speak, to one of being fully open, sharing every feeling and emotion. Whatever your reaction or way of dealing with these tragic events, you are not alone. It is so interesting to see our behavior in nature.
