With a taste of summer here and there these last few days, raspberries made their way into my shopping cart and became a photo subject. Here is to hoping that spring comes to stay soon, followed by an amazing summer. Enjoy!
Until next week,
Helen

The saying goes:
“Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe.”
Its not uncommon that I see brides follow the old/new/borrowed/blue tradition, but it has been rare to see the silver sixpence. The sixpence is to represent wealth and financial security for the new couple. For optimal fortune, the sixpence should be worn in the left shoe.
And for fun, an etsy treasury of wedding details to inspire the wedding planning.

Spring is here and the tulips are beginning to push their way through the soil here in the Boston Area. I love this time of year, all sorts of new blooms are found at the local store. This week I found beautiful pink tulips to brighten up the home.
A few more images of these lovely tulips can be found at my ETSY shop.Enjoy!

In honor of the upcoming Easter Holiday, this week’s Fine Art Friday is a photograph of felted wool eggs.
Enjoy! Until next time,

Technology has changed our lives in ways we never expected! Who would have thought that everyone would have a smart phone that enabled us to check our emails and keep up with our friends on Facebook virtually anywhere? Ten years ago, it probably did not cross our minds. We have all owned cameras (with film) and soon after point & shoot digital cameras. And now, smart phones double as great pocket point & shoot cameras. Don’t be surprised if you see this “detail” at your wedding, while you cut your cake, while you walk down the aisle, etc. And while you will love to see everyone’s snapshots on their Facebook timelines, you may want to remind them that they are there to have fun and enjoy your wedding day too. Or perhaps you want to bust out your iPhone and start taking pictures too?
Until next time,
Helen
