Newborn Photography | Welcoming Baby Girl O

Newborn photography is very different from most portrait photography. The window of opportunity to capture a newborn is limited – ideally days 5 – 12. A lot of patience is required during these shoots – often waiting for baby to fall asleep, settle, eat, and get comfortable. Finally, you cannot rush a newborn. When all three elements combine, the results are beautiful and a rewarding.

Meet Baby Girl O. She was a dream – fed, slept, and posed beautifully.

Mable & Ken: A Harvard Square Wedding

Mable & Ken were married in mid-October at Harvard University’s Memorial Church, in the Appleton Chapel, in front of close friends and family. The intimate affair continued with a sweet celebration at Harvard Square’s Upstairs on the Square. As you can see in these images below, the continuous smiles and laughter of Mable and Ken were prominent throughout their day. These two are a perfect match! May your lives continue to be filled with lots of love and laughter!

Elise + Ben are Married!

A huge congratulations to Elise and Ben, married in September! Elise and Ben exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Paul’s Church in Wellesley and celebrated with their friends and family at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston. A beautiful ceremony and service that had me holding back tears, reminding me once again the importance of a wedding. Toasts during the reception were heartfelt and brought laughter and tears to all. The champagne flowed freely as guests enjoyed the music played by the wonderful Boston Common Band. Congratulations again to Elise and Ben!

Patriotic Bicycle | Fine Art Friday

On September 11th this year, I found myself in Concord, an old, historic Massachusetts town. The town was decked out in flags, showing its patriotism and support. I came across this old bicycle in an alley. First thought that crossed my mind was, what a patriotic bicycle!

2014 Calendars

Is it already that time of year that we’re talking about 2014 Calendars? Why, yes!

Who really uses calendars these days? After all don’t we have our smart phones? Well, yes. These calendars, though, can decorate your walls, your office, or add a bit of color to your work desk. In my Etsy shop you will see Wall Calendars and 5×7 loose leaf calendars, both types can be used together or separately. These calendars make great gifts for a loved one – a parent, a sibling, a significant other or for yourself. Here they are!

The 5×7 Loose Leaf Calendar

I have created 2 concept designs in the 5×7 Loose Leaf Calendar format – Colorful Abstracts and Sweets! Each month has its own 5×7, with a 5×5 image that can be trimmed and framed once the month is over. So, you have a calendar + 12 5×5 images once the year is over! The 11×14 Wall Calendar

Hot off the design press is the 11×14 Wall Calendar. It comes in both a Vertical and Horizontal Orientation and both can have either an 8×8 or an 8×10 image of your choice, from my shop. Once the year is over you can trim the image and you have a frameable 8×8 or 10×10. Brilliant, no? Here are a few ideas.
