I met up with Sandra and Neil this past beautiful Saturday in Harvard Square for an Engagement Session. Sharing just a few of my favorites from our session together.  Sandra + Neil are full of laughter and smiles, as captured.

I am so excited to introduce Sofia Carmela, my little girl, born 7.5 weeks early.  She was supposed to be a Fall baby, mid-October, but decided that Summer was more her season, so she joined us on August 22nd, 2011.  Given her early entrance, she did spend some time in the NICU and her tiny size is now a thing of the past.  This overdue introduction (its 2012 already!) can be blamed on a variety of reasons, so without further delay, here are some images of Sofia.  Keep tabs for future photo shares.  Thanks for reading!

After 22 days we made it home and I got to play with her a bit.

At two months we hit a bit of a road block with some reflux issues, so our 2 month pictures are less than stellar.  But  still very representative of the fact that we were tired of it!

We had a quick holiday photo session in December.  Turns out Sofia is a great model!

Meet Baby E at 15 days young.  He was a bit rushed to enter the world to meet his mom and dad, a few weeks early.  I can relate to having a little one who wants to come early.  I am sure mom and dad are enjoying the extra few weeks they have together.

Phoebe and Eric were married in early November on a sunny, yet chilly Saturday, joined by family and friends.   Phoebe and Eric exchanged vows at Boston University’s Marsh Chapel, a place dear to them as they met while at Boston University.  They celebrated with family and friends with a fun filled reception at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge.  Congratulations again!  Enjoy!

You may recognize Phoebe and Eric from a great engagement session we had at Boston’s Waterfront.  They were married in early November, celebrating with family and friends on a windy, yet sunny day.  Here are a few of my favorites of the day, showcasing what’s to come.  Enjoy!

I’m so happy I was able to be at Suzanne + Chris’ wedding (after my daughter arrived much earlier than anticipated).  Suzanne + Chris + Jack enjoyed a beautiful day, with a heartfelt ceremony and an intimate reception at a gorgeous sea-side location. Congratulations to the couple and family!

Laura + Nick were married at the Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury followed by a reception with family and friends at the Brookmeadow Country Club.  Hurricane Elaine impacted the New England coast, bringing us rain and gloomy weather.  Laura and Nick did not let this weather get in the way of having a great time on their wedding day.  They enjoyed a great day with all their friends and close family.  Enjoy the images below.

Eric and Katie were married on August 6th in Lexington and celebrated with family and friends at the Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord.  Katie began her day by getting ready with her bridesmaids, beginning with hair and make up.  Figuring out how to put a six-pence in a heel-less shoe did not throw these ladies for a loop – very cleverly attached to the bottom of the shoe!  We then headed to the church for their First Look.  Thankfully, the weather cooperated with no rain, although the humidity was unfortunately there.  From their First Look I could tell Katie and Eric have a wonderful relationship and its also quite playful and light-hearted.  Definitely an ingredient for a successful relationship!  Following a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to Wellesley College, Katie’s Alma Mater, for some photos, a gorgeous location (of course, I’m not biased).  We made our way over to Concord for the reception, first with a private tea ceremony with family and close friends.  I’m excited to share a full set of photos of their wedding day, including several images captured by second photographer Maura Moore of  irmalou photography.

Congratulations again, Katie and Eric!  I hope Hawaii was a wonderful time.

What does a 95 degree and humid July day + a beautiful setting like the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, coupled with great food and company equal?  Mike and Siobhan’s beautiful wedding!   Seriously, these two really embraced the fact that they were getting married and ignored the weather.  I’m sure as they look back on their wedding day, the weather will be a distant memory and they will recall the fun they had.

Mike and Siobhan are avid rowers and incorporated their love for rowing through the oars that were displayed at the ceremony.  Married by a family friend, resulted in a beautiful and personal ceremony.  Family and guests enjoyed the grounds at the deCordova while enjoying cocktails and appetizers on the terrace.  The reception was filled with warm toasts, delicious food, and plenty of dancing!
