I am so excited to introduce Sofia Carmela, my little girl, born 7.5 weeks early.  She was supposed to be a Fall baby, mid-October, but decided that Summer was more her season, so she joined us on August 22nd, 2011.  Given her early entrance, she did spend some time in the NICU and her tiny size is now a thing of the past.  This overdue introduction (its 2012 already!) can be blamed on a variety of reasons, so without further delay, here are some images of Sofia.  Keep tabs for future photo shares.  Thanks for reading!

After 22 days we made it home and I got to play with her a bit.

At two months we hit a bit of a road block with some reflux issues, so our 2 month pictures are less than stellar.  But  still very representative of the fact that we were tired of it!

We had a quick holiday photo session in December.  Turns out Sofia is a great model!

Meet Baby E at 15 days young.  He was a bit rushed to enter the world to meet his mom and dad, a few weeks early.  I can relate to having a little one who wants to come early.  I am sure mom and dad are enjoying the extra few weeks they have together.

I’m very excited to share a few images of Baby B.  You may remember his big brothers from this post.  Baby B is also a twin and his parents, C&R, are looking forward to Baby C  joining him and them at home in the near future.  For now, some pictures of Baby B.

I shared just one image of newborn Baby P and felt I needed to come back to share more of her. She was so precious, slept and modeled so well, I hope she is continuing this trend with mom and dad! Enjoy!

Congratulations again!

I was so excited when Baby C’s mom contacted me about doing newborn photos, I was counting down the days to her due date.  Well, Baby C arrived a bit early at a very healthy almost 8 lbs.  I had the pleasure of meeting her at 8 days and she was just a doll – eating like a champ and sleeping beautifully.

Congratulations again to proud parents E + C!  I hope to get to see more of this beautiful girl as she grows up.

Slated to arrive on the day of the Royal Wedding, Baby B decided he didn’t want to share the spotlight and arrived a few weeks early.  He’s a perfectly healthy and cuddly boy, keeping mom and dad busy!  He is twelve days young in these photos and is growing every day.

Congratulations again to A + C!  Thanks for having me capture these images.  I hope you are enjoying your time with B. 

Just a few weeks ago I did a maternity session with John + Jeni. Well, Baby P joined proud parents John + Jeni a few weeks before schedule.  She’s a dream and I couldn’t wait to share one of her while I’m working on the rest of the images.  Can’t wait to share the rest soon!  Congratulations!!

I recently met Jeni and John for a maternity portrait session.  Jeni is due towards the end of April (doesn’t she look fantastic?) and they are patiently awaiting the arrival of Penelope.  [Isn't that such a cute name?]  I spent some time with soon-to-be parents in their home and beautiful nursery and ended our time there with a family portrait with the dogs.  These two are going enjoy being big siblings!   We then ventured outdoors, where the sun shone, and the wind kept things a bit chilly – Jeni and John were very brave!

Congratulations again and I can’t wait to meet little Penelope in a few weeks!

Newborn babies are so wonderful. The anticipation of their arrival for me is so exciting for the parents, I must admit, I get incredibly excited as well.  Due dates are memorized in anticipation of our session.  Seriously, I get to spend a few hours with them and its a wonderful time.

I had been waiting patiently to meet Baby T for many months now and it was certainly worth the wait. He’s a very sweet and beautiful baby boy.  Big sister, Mylee, is quite proud to be a big sister, although she is still getting used to sharing the spotlight.  Unfortunately, she was not around to join us this time, but will be there in future sessions.

Well, I saw them again two weeks ago and they are adorable as ever.  Soon they will be walking, causing lots of headaches for their parents.
